Since Sunday is Mother’s Day, Baal Mandir will be organizing a special activity for kids starting at 7pm to celebrate this wonderful time to remember our dear mothers. So please bring your kids!

You are invited to two spiritual lectures (pravachans) by Swami Maheshwarand, Eminent scholar of Hindu scriptures (who is visiting Victoria), at the Victoria Hindu Temple.

Swami Maheshwarand Ji will be speaking on two very interesting and insightful topics:

Friday April 27, 2012 – “The Mystery of God’s Will, Destiny & Time” 
Saturday April 28, 2012. – “What Does Surrender to God Mean?”

Lectures (pravachans) start on both days at 7:30 PM, followed by refreshments on Friday, and dinner (preeti bhojan) on Saturday.

Swami Maheshvaranand studied the deepest aspects of the Sanskrit scriptures: Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayan etc, under the guidance of Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj. Since receiving the order of sanyas from Shri Kripaluji, he has lectured and guided workshops throughout the USA, Canada, and the West Indies, inspiring audiences with his clear and practical presentations.

The Preeti Bhojan on Saturday will be served by Prem Sagar and Davinder Sharma and Family.
